ABOUT ME - PRANAE HARIRAJAN

Hello, My name is Pranae Adhik Harirajan! I am an aspiring engineering student, currently enrolled in Dublin High School as a junior, and very open to many engineering fields. Throughout my last two years of engineering experience in high school has led me to gain interests in electrical, nuclear, and aerospace engineering. I hope to widen my horizon of engineering and help increase my scope of knowledge. 

 

During HDE (Honors Digital Engineering), I have been able to apply my knowledge in electrical circuitry, as we have made 74LS74 IC circuits, for logic designs, online Multisim circuit design, 555 timer circuits, and lately, RNG circuits. Throughout the past year, my friend and I have been gathering materials and designing our own keyboard, a simple interest amongst us, to heighten our knowledge in software, electronics, and application engineering, through a personal project. We also plan to launch our product if it reaches a public level. I have portrayed interest in engineering since 6th grade when my friend and I designed and coded a line tracing battle bot, which won first in the local middle school tournament.

Currently in Aerospace Engineering, I am learning new aspects of engineering, that combine my learnings in electrical engineering as well and mechanical engineering. During this year I have learned a lot about planes and air traffic control. Moreover, we have recently started working into spacecrafts and their impacts, and learning about cutting-edge technology was really cool to work and learn about.

Although I have a sprawling range of engineering interests, I also have some fine arts skills, like an interest in video editing and photography. I was part of the school’s video bulletin team in my freshman year and many of my videos, edits made it onto the front page and start segments on the daily bulletin. Due to this, I have lots of interest and skill sets in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom. I also own a video drone, which I have used to film stagings in housing realty. Lately, I have been applying to internships and have been selected for a summer internship at Zadar Labs, a 4d radar-mapping start-up in the bay area. I am also running two private projects on the side, one on google app creation and another on an ECE project on keyboard redesigns.
